The purpose of the Human Resource Office is to attract, support, and retain a talented and diverse faculty and staff community dedicated to the mission of Harbel College. The Human Resource Office is committed to providing excellence in the areas of benefits and wellness, compensation, employee relations, payroll, recruiting and hiring, performance management, compliance with the College's policies and guidelines, and human resource planning. During the period under review (December 2015 to December 2016), the Human Resource Department was able to recruit highly qualified individuals into its staff and faculty ranks to move forward the vision of the college administratively and academically. The overall employment objective and commitment of Harbel College are to recruit a sufficient number of the best and brightest people to meet the present and future human resource needs of the institution. Only candidates who posses the requisite qualifications and experience for their positions and pass the related selection tests were recruited. Recruitment of experienced staff and faculty, where necessary, requires that the candidate has adequate experience including some level of industry experience. Despite the budgetary constraints we faced during the period, we were able to recruit needed personnel, taking into consideration the qualifications and experiences of faculty members and the needs of our students. All of the faculty members recruited had master degrees in their respective areas of discipline.
